Just over 12 months after joining Manchester
United in a £27.5m deal from Everton, midfielder
Marouane Fellaini is already widely considered an
expensive flop for the club.

completion.
In fact even when the Belgium international first
joined there was a feeling it was a desperate buy
from former manager David Moyes and his
performances since have done little to change that
opinion.
With Louis van Gaal having since taken over from
Moyes following the Scot's sacking, there was
much speculation that the new boss would look to
offload Fellaini as soon as possible.
Yet as it is the transfer window has been and gone
and the 26-year-old remains at Old Trafford, which
either suggests nobody wanted the Belgian or van
Gaal has a plan for him at the club.
Fellaini will be hoping it is the latter and once he
has recovered from the ankle injury that is
currently sidelining him has vowed to fight for his
place in the United starting XI.
"I want to fight for my place," the ex-Toffees star
was quoted by the Guardian .
"The coach wants to play with the 11 players who
make the best team. I want to be part of that."
Since arriving at the Theatre of Dreams the
midfielder has made 22 appearances in all
competitions and is yet to score his first goal for the
Red Devils.
