United Have Offer Ready For Ronaldo

The potential move of World Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo is more likely than it has ever been, according to Sky Sports journalist Guillem Balague.

Ronaldo has reportedly been unhappy with Real Madrid's transfer policy and the possibility is growing that the Portuguese forward may push for a return to Old Trafford at the end of the season - six years after leaving the club for the current European champions Real.

That move cost Los Blancos an at the time world record fee of £80m, and any return could cost United a significant fee of their own despite the fact that the player will be 30 by next summer.

Balague said: "He's not happy that [Mesut] Ozil left and he's didn't like that [Xabi] Alonso and [Angel] Di Maria left.

"He has this idea that at Real Madrid he's doing a job, while he enjoyed himself 'like a kid' at Manchester United. He dreams of going back to Manchester United and Manchester United have all the finances in place to get him."
