Potential United Line Up Against QPR

Manchester United are still looking for their first win of the new Premier League season, but will hope to get just that when QPR visit Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Devils are set to give starts to a host of new signings for the clash, with many other squad members ready to play after recovering from injury.

Here is how they may line up for the clash.

Goalkeeper:
1
de Gea
David de Gea is United's first choice and will be hoping to keep his second clean sheet of the season against Harry Redknapp's side.

Defence:
12
Smalling
6
Evans
5
Rojo

Phil Jones is out for three weeks, but United are boosted by the news that Chris Smalling should be ready to return. Jonny Evans may take up the central berth in defence, while Marcos Rojo is likely to make his debut as left centre back after finally being granted a work permit.

Midfield:
25
Valencia
24
Fletcher
8
Mata
7
Di María
17
Blind

While Daley Blind's long term role is expected to come in the centre of midfield, he could debut in the left wing back position he occupied for Holland at the World Cup. Luke Shaw will likely be included in the squad but may be used as a sub given he is lacking match practice.

Antonio Valencia should get the nod on the opposite side, while vice captain Darren Fletcher could partner Angel Di Maria in the centre. Juan Mata may play off the front two.

Forwards:
9
Falcao
10
Rooney

Robin van Persie is said to be struggling with an ankle injury, so new loan signing Radamel Falcao may make his hotly anticipated bow at Old Trafford.

Wayne Rooney should partner the Colombian given he is captain, with van Persie and James Wilson offering back up options if anything goes wrong.
