last month, but could not prevent his team falling to a 2-1 defeat. He then
failed to find the net as Louis van Gaal's side were held to draws by
Sunderland and Burnley.
The 28-year-old did strike for England in their friendly against Norway,
coverting a second-half penalty, but he was still criticised for his
underwhelming performance.
